Sprinkler Systems
Sprinkler
Systems are based on closed pipe systems which are supplied with
water from fire pumps (Diesel or electric) and equipped with closed
sprinkler heads.
When heat rises, the respective sprinkler
will open and the water stream will be scattered and the fine drops
are directed to the heat source.
Application:
• Shopping malls
• Storage
• Hotels
• High Rise Buildings
• Garages
• Wood Working Process
Water Spray
Systems
The term "water spray" refers to the use of
water in a form having a predetermined pattern, particle size,
velocity and density discharged from specially designed nozzles.
Water spray fixed systems are applied to special fire protection of
transformers or fuel oil tank surfaces or other free standing
objects to provide effective fire control and supression.
Each water spray system consists mainly of the piping system,
equipped with high velocity nozzles, the electronic activation
system and the respective remote control valve set.
The system
is connected to the water source.
In case of fire the water
spray system will be activated automatically, when a detector is
activated by high temperature and/or other detectors. Via the alarm
to the control panel the solenoid valve at the respective remote
control valve will be opened.
This causes an immediate pressure
loss in the remote control valve and, thus will trigger it. The
water will flow towards the pipe work to the nozzles.
Additionally, manual release points will be provided at the deluge
valves.
Application:
• Waste bunker
•
Theatres
• Wood working industry
• Fuel oil tank farms and
pumps
• Power Plants, Cooling towers
• Transformers
• Cable
tunnels
